Everyone likes to meet over a drink! But in this field, Cameroonians are certainly the best! Where they are among the last is that they consume 99% of imported products. Whether it's the drinks themselves or just the recipe (as with beers), everything is imported!

RemK arranged rums are 100% Cameroonian liqueurs. Our goal is to be able to offer them in bars, restaurants, cellars, hotels and of course in stores and supermarkets in Cameroon. As a result, Cameroonians will be able to enjoy Made In Cameroon liqueurs during aperitif time!

To do this, we must have our products certified by ANOR (Agence des Normes et de la Qualité).

Created in September 2021, remK is a 100% Cameroonian-made rum brand that is 100% natural. These are artisanally made products.

Arranged rum is a preparation based on rum in which various ingredients are macerated (fruits, spices, leaves, roots, flowers, etc.) in order to obtain different flavors.

remK has over 20 recipes divided into 3 large families:

• fruits
• spices
• roots

remK has more than 25 years of experience.

remK, these are world-exclusive recipes, resulting in world-exclusive liqueurs!

remK is a 5 star service and customer satisfaction!

remK is a mixed French-Cameroonian couple.

remK is me, David, a French, multi-skilled serial entrepreneur:

• master in rum setting for more than 25 years,
• 15 years of experience in IT,
• marketing, communication, infographics,
• plumber, electrician, tiler,
• etc.

When I arrived in Cameroon in June 2021, I first worked as a manager in a bar-restaurant while at the same time starting to create products for the remK brand. In March 2022, I decided to resign to devote myself 100% to remK arranged rums.

remK it's me, Malou, Cameroonian. I've been with David since the start of the remK adventure. I assist him in all stages of the production of arranged rums. I also do the accounting.

remK is also about other projects including growing and hiring…

Already an expert in the preparation of arranged rums, it was during my first trip to Cameroon that I realized that this type of liqueur is completely unknown in this country. Country that I literally fall in love with. For the time being, I'll only be living for this dream: moving to Cameroon and producing my flavored rums for the people of this country.

In September 2021, we created the remK brand with around ten recipes.

In January 2022, we declared the craft business.

Throughout our journey, we have never stopped looking for and inventing new ways to get our products noticed and sold. It must be said that consuming imported products is here anchored in mentalities. Moreover, it is a sign of wealth.

We therefore participate in as many exhibitions and craft fairs as possible.

We even organize our own exhibitions when opportunities to exhibit are scarce.

We host private tastings centered on a delicious meal and fun activities.

We reinvent ourselves even by offering, for example, our arranged rums as cocktails during festivals.

However, such occurrences are still relatively uncommon. They are expensive and take up valuable time that could be using elsewhere...

We had tried prospecting bars, restaurants, wineries, hotels and shops, but each time we were faced with the same problem: our products were not certified.

remK is more than 20 recipes grouped into 3 large families.

The fruits: Pineapple, Red plum, Coconut, Bissap, Folérhum, Fruit salad, Melon, Jaabi, Ginger/Passion, Mojirhum, Jangolo, Black lemon, etc.

Spices: Mbongo, Sanshool, Fipagrass, Penja/Turmeric, Oku Honey Spices, Kalôrhum, Zizi Pan Pan, Vanilla, Capsaicin, etc.

The roots: Bonbon café, Bad beets, Souchet, etc.

remK is also 3 formats: the 70 cl bottle, the 20 cl flask (or flash) and the 6 cl mignonette.

A certification granted by ANOR would allow us to offer our products everywhere in Cameroon: bars, restaurants, cellars, hotels, shops, etc.

Certifying products entails asking a recognized organization (ANOR) to guarantee the conformity of our products to our customers. To that end, the ANOR ensures that our products meet all standards, including hygiene, manufacturing, and labeling. However, the ANOR also conducts laboratory tests.

Certification is a time-consuming and costly process.. It is more expensive than remK, it is a collection of more than 20 arranged rums to certify.

We are asking your assistance in funding the certification of our products so that we can distribute our arranged rums throughout Cameroon, allowing more people to discover this type of liqueur and increasing our sales.

But that's not all: remK sees further ahead! In fact, here are our various goals:

1 - Certification (€3,800)

With this amount we will certify our products. We obtain the certification and gain access to bars, restaurants, wineries, hotels and shops!

2 – Marketing (€1,200)

By achieving the second level, or €5,000, we will be able to hire a commercial who will be responsible for visiting all locations where alcoholic beverages are sold in order to accelerate the commercialization of our products.

3 - Merchandising and advertising (€3,000)

If we reach the third level, we will be able to produce promotional items in our image to distinguish our products from competitors in stores and points of sale. We will also launch our first public relations campaign.

We still have many other projects, but Rome wasn't built in a day...

Crowdfunding is an adventure undertaken by a large number of adventurers.

Everyone participates at their level: "Small is not small!". Every euro or FCFA is welcome!

In addition, for each of these objectives, we will match the contributions with an additional 30 to 50% because it is normal, in our opinion, to be as or even more committed than you.

However, this campaign is an "all or nothing" campaign. This means that if the first level is not reached, all contributions will be reimbursed and we will therefore not receive any assistance.
